Turtle Temperature Sensor (ENGR 110, Spring 2014)

The team had a vision to use monitored turtle temperature data as an interactive instructional tool for biology classrooms. Within the project, the students selected and attached a wireless thermosensor to a red snapper turtle. Given the client’s preferences, the ThermoWorks RG ThermaData Temperature Logger was selected, and the 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast Cure was used to adhere the sensor to the red snapper turtle.
