Automatic Chicken Coop Door System (ENGR 110, Winter 2015)

The students designed a chicken coop door system that can self-generate power, and user friendly. A car power antenna motor was implemented to move a sliding door which rolled on custom 3D printed guide rials. The system is solar powered and controlled by a programmable timer.
