About Amy-Elyzabeth Torrico '26 

AmyElyzabeth Torrico Hackworth

Amy-Elyzabeth Torrico graduated from Santa Clara University with a double major in Political Science and Communications, and minors in Spanish and Ethnic Studies. Outside of the classroom, she has a passion for sports as was a Color Analyst and Media Relations Intern for SCU Athletics. Post-graduation, she hopes to pursue her dream to be an analyst for the NBA. Torrico will also continue to devote time to her passions, including social justice, community development, and coaching youth sports.

Her fellowship project addressed the new pressures and issues as collegiate sports navigate significant changes driven by NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) regulations, social media impact, and evolving policies.
