A member of the Ethics Center’s Advisory Board for 27 years, Mike E. Fox Sr. has always had passion for ethical government. In 1999, he and his wife Mary Ellen were early investors in the new government ethics program at the Center. More recently, they helped launch the Ethical Campaign Initiative with its popular Massive Open Online Course, How to Run an Ethical Political Campaign—and Win! as well as the Government Ethics Academy for local officials. The Foxes’ philanthropic work on behalf of the University earned them both honorary doctorates from SCU this year.
