A Catholic AI app Promises Answers for the Faithful. Can it succeed?

For some, there is a desire to get answers about religion without dealing with other people.

“Some people feel very uncomfortable talking about these existential issues with another human being,” said Brian Patrick Green, a member of the AI Research Group of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education, and director, technology ethics at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. “It would be nice if we could all talk to each other about the deepest issues in our hearts, but some people have had bad experiences.”
