Growing Worker Burnout in the US

Sarah Cabral, senior scholar, business ethics, quoted by CGTN America.

Worker burnout is at a pandemic-era high. A major factor is a reluctance to return to the office.

"In an HR Digest article I read, 80% of tech workers were looking for other jobs." Sarah said, "I think that the reason behind tech worker burnout is that sometimes companies will consider the marginal cost of overworking employees being low, but fail to consider the full cost of overworking tech workers. The full cost being that the company itself becomes less competitive and less profitable if the best talent is considering leaving the company. "
