Outrage Mounts Against YouTuber's Racist Comments Directed at Asian-American Reporter
KPIX news interviewed the Markkula Center's director of Internet Ethics Irina Raicu after conservative podcaster Steven Crowder made racist comments about KPIX reporter Betty Yu. The comment occurred in a video released by Crowder on the Blaze, a news site only visible to paying viewers.
"In a way, you are actually bringing it to the attention of a much broader public than the paying viewers of that website...even the people who are not paid participants or listeners to that conversation can maybe question the people who are paying to see that kind of content," said Raicu.
