CGTN's Mark Niu reports about generative AI – artificial intelligence that can produce content, including text and art and its competition among tech companies eager to out-perform one another. Brian Green, director, technology ethics, weighs in.

"It(AI) is a surprise to society, and now the question is how we are going to respond to that. How do we make sure that we are producing the society that we actually want to live in? Do we like the idea of most text, or most art online, or showing up in various places in the world being produced by Artificial Intelligence rather than humans? I think that might not be the world we want to live in. "
