Faculty Development strives to be a hub for resources related to AI teaching and learning to serve our faculty. Other groups and offices across campus also provide resources to support faculty, and we encourage you to explore them all.
University Resources
The AI Resource Hub brings together guidance, tools, and resources to support the responsible use of artificial intelligence at Santa Clara University. The hub is informed by a cross-functional AI Working Group representing areas across the University.
An interdisciplinary hub where faculty, students, staff, and industry partners collaborate to contemplate, design, and deploy AI technologies that will benefit society and serve humanity.
A multi-program hub offering applied ethics teaching resources, events about AI-ethics-related topics, training in ethical decision-making, and interdisciplinary research. Their Guide for AI Ethics Literacy, shares published resources addressing issues of AI bias, data privacy, sustainability, and more.
Designed by Instructional Design & Technology to be completed at your own pace (with an approximate completion time of 3-5 hours), this asynchronous course gives faculty an opportunity to explore how engagement with AI can enhance instructional preparation—and student learning—in thoughtful, practical ways.
These grants support faculty who are curious about the role of AI in their teaching and research and would benefit from dedicated time and support to explore a new pedagogical question or research application.
