Rebecca Chae is an assistant professor in the marketing department at the Leavey School of Business. Her research interests are in consumer behavior, with a focus on: a) how time perception and the timing of interventions influence individual and societal wellbeing, and b) how emerging technologies influence consumer behavior. Her work has been published in journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General. She has also received numerous awards, including the Best Talk Award at the Society for Consumer Psychology and the ACR/Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award.  

Dr. Chae earned her Ph.D. in business administration at the University of Michigan. She earned M.S. in marketing from Columbia University and B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
