What are you doing this summer? This summer I worked as a Store Executive Management Intern with Target in the Santa Clara/San Jose District. This internship provided a hands-on opportunity for me to apply my learnings as a management major at SCU to a high volume retail company. I developed the skills to lead, manage, and motivate teams of employees around the district to drive sales within the Target corporation.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my experience was getting to chat with Target CEO Brian Cornell during a panel held over zoom for Target interns this summer. I was able to ask him questions about his experience and gain an understanding of management at all levels of Target, both in-store and corporate.
