What was one of your favorite classes? Media Communications; It was interesting to learn a lot about how different media and media consumption in Korea is. Also, it's interesting the government support for media and how Korea was able to place themselves in the global market for media/entertainment over the years.
What did you like about your program/university? The university had such a fun culture and the campus was so beautiful. I also loved the program that SCU sets you up with, the staff was like our family away from our families and they took us on so many fun trips and helped us whenever we needed.
What was your favorite place that you visited or favorite part about your city? I loved Snoopy Garden in Jeju and picking oranges there! In Seoul, however, I loved being able to shop around in different neighborhoods and try different restaurants. My favorite district had to be Apgujeong!
What advice would you give to the 2024 abroad students? The classes are definitely a change of pace compared to SCU, so be prepared for a different studying environment. It was a hard change for me but it ended up being okay! Also, take the time to explore the country this is your one chance to be able to explore this country as you're living in it!
