Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad

The student was enlisted to survey the train tracks for the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad because a survey had not been done before, and several organizations such as the Santa Clara Park and Recreation had requested surveys and drawings for their records. The surveys and drawings are needed as reference for future land development, renovation, repair, and maintenance of the tracks. The student had taken a class in surveying as part of her coursework in civil engineering, so this project was a good fit providing her with experience working on a real-world project.
