Anthropic researchers are sounding the alarm, warning that AI could destroy humanity this decade. Brian Patrick Green, Director of Technology Ethics at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University, joined EWTN News Nightly to discuss whether this warning is just hype or a real threat, and if governments are taking this warning seriously enough.

"I think it would be a good idea for the governments of the world to cooperate with each other, to collaborate, to say, 'Okay maybe we need to slow down and think a little harder about this.'"
