Hooria Jazaieri: New Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Hooria Jazaieri is currently an Assistant Professor of Management at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA in Counseling Psychology (LMFT) from Santa Clara University, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington. Before joining SCU, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. At the Leavey School of Business, she teaches the Social Psychology of Leadership and Management of Organizations.
Broadly, Dr. Jazaieri's research examines individual reputation and emotion. She takes a multi-method approach to her research, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods in experimental laboratory and field settings. Outside of academia, she has professional work experience in a variety of industries including tech, consulting, and mental health.
