Microfinance Association (MiFi) is a group of students who are committed to promote microfinance within the SCU community and assist local nonprofits to alleviate extreme poverty by designing microfinance programs and developing partnerships with local microfinance organizations. We are project-based and skill-building oriented club, to build both professional and social connections.
I joined MiFi to meet people who are also interested in business and philanthropy. I was hoping to discover ways to give back or help our community by utilizing the skills that we learned.
I enjoy watching students joining the club with various backgrounds and being proactive and creative with coming up with projects, activities, and fundraising.
