Congratulations to all graduates !! I am honored and truly excited to celebrate this momentous occasion with you!
Along with the Leavey School of Business community, I celebrate you for all of your hard work and perseverance. Each of you completed a degree that will propel you towards your personal and professional goals. And you didn't let the tremendous demands placed upon you during the last few months come in the way of your goals. Your success demonstrates your commitment to growth and your capability to accomplish your goals - which is truly remarkable.
A journey like this can rarely be successful when traveled alone. Therefore, I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to your support communities, including your families, friends, mentors, and the faculty and staff at the Leavey School. These people will continue to cheer you on as you start writing the next amazing chapter in your life.
I am very proud of how each of you has excelled. Soon, you will look back and the last few months will be just a blip in your memory, but one that will help you recognize your strength and resilience. More memorable will be the experiences and relationships you have developed during your time here at Santa Clara. We are grateful to be a part of your journey, and hope to continue to be a part of it in the future.
