SCU's rEvolve House, the winner of California's inaugural Tiny House Competition last October, has been named Best College Sustainability Project as part of Green Builder® Media's Green Home of the Year Awards

Jamie Ferris '19 (mechanical engineering) participated on the SCU Ethics Bowl team at the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl regional competition last fall; SCU's team went on to place 4th (out of ~200 teams and 37 finalists) in the National Tournament. Brian Green (engineering and Markkula Center) helped coach the team.

An estimated 400 guests visited the first-ever Engineering Research Showcase, held during National Engineers Week last month. Nearly 40 (35% female!) faculty, post-docs, PhD candidates, MS, and BS students shared their research in bioengineering, mathematics, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and web design and engineering!
