Don't be afraid to take on roles that aren't directly related to your major. It'll help you learn what you like and don't like.
What is one piece of advice you would give to students looking for internships?
I would highly recommend holding informational interviews with professionals in the roles you are interested in as well as other students who have had the internship you want. This will help you get a feel for the role and to see if the company would potentially be a good match.
