What excited you about becoming a PCC?
I'm excited to share my experiences with younger students and help them define their personal and professional goals to be successful during and beyond their time in LSB!
What is your favorite career advice you’ve received?
An interview is just as much you interviewing the company as it is them interviewing you! It's great if you have the skills and experiences to be successful in the role, but at the end of the day it's important to work for a company that aligns with your morals, goals, and expectations.
What is one piece of advice you would give to students looking for internships?
You get out what you put in. The internship search process can be lengthy and draining, but if you are consistent with networking, applying to a variety of different roles, and practicing interview skills it will pay off. For those who don't feel like they have enough experience, taking leadership roles in clubs, earning certifications, or working on side projects can help differentiate you as an applicant.
