ECC FAQs

Use your SCU Username and Password to log in to the computers in the ECC labs.

Your SCU Username is everything before @scu.edu of your SCU email address, so if Bucky Bronco's email address is bbronco@scu.edu, Bucky's SCU Username is bbronco.

Your SCU Password is the same as you use to access your SCU email.

Please note: When logging into ECC Linux systems, usernames need to all be in lowercase letters.

The Linux OS is case sensitive, and for the ECC you should enter your username in lower case.  For example, if your SCU Username is BBronco, enter your username in all lowercase letters, as bbronco.

Make sure you meet these requirements before attempting to connect to the ECC remotely.

If you still can’t access the lab rooms after scanning your card, please e-mail STEM Operations at stemops@scu.edu and include which class(es) you are registered for, and which room(s) you need access to.

If any ECC lab classroom projector, AV Panel (the touch screen that powers on the projector unit), sound, or TV has an issue, please contact Media Services for assistance.
