UP Mini 2 3D Printer
The UP Mini 2 is a hobby class prototyping machine that heats up solid plastic to print 3D parts. In the Maker Lab we have three UP Mini 2 3D printers.
Training Required: Basic Training and 3D Printer Training
Workspace: 120x120x120mm (4.7x4.7x4.7 inches)
Materials: PLA, ABS
File Types: STL, UP3
Material Fees: School-related prints are free. Personal prints are charged based on material use

Software for creating 3D model:
You can use any 3D modeling software that can save as an STL. Here are some free options.
AutoDesk Suite offers free software. Recommend Fusion 360 for experienced or TinkerCAD for beginners.
SketchUp offers free software
Software for slicing 3D model to send to 3D printer:
UP Mini Infill Sample Prints
Sample prints to show different infill density. You can also print models to be used for prototyping, final production, gifts, and more.
