A step-by-step guide
The Ethics Center’s popular Framework for Ethical Decision Making is now available as a one-minute movie. We also are offering a poster version of the basic 10-step guide.
The original Framework, which has been viewed more than 1 million times online, features five ethical approaches: utilitarianism, rights, justice, virtue, and the common good. It has been used in hundreds of classrooms and training sessions for professionals in fields from business to nursing to engineering.
The new formats are ideal for teachers and trainers who want to introduce the basics of ethical decision making. All versions of the framework are free for nonprofits to reproduce and use with attribution to the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University.
