Ann Skeet, senior director of Leadership Ethics, interviewed on Transport Topic Radio.

In a segment dedicated to Covid-19 and its impact on transportation, trucking and the overall economy, Ann Skeet, senior director of Leadership Ethics joins Dan Ronan, associate news editor/Print and Multimedia at Transport Topics Radio to discuss the importance of ethics in a crisis. The segment aired March 21, 2020.

What can people in the trucking and transportation industry or small business owners could learn from executives in high profile positions, like Adam Silver?

"The important thing to take from Adam Silver right now is how much influence each one of us can have in a moment like this. We are all leaders in our own lives and have opportunities to show leadership. People around us will be watching us in the various roles that we have to see what the priorities are that we are setting and how we are handling that. Encouraging people to follow the guidelines that are out there right now. Good old fashioned encouraging of ethical conduct, which right now looks like following public health guidelines, washing hands, social distancing, staying home, and not participating in large events. That’s asking a lot of people from all walks of life, but we can all demonstrate and model that in the decisions we have to make all day, every day, in the work that we do."
