This is a condensed excerpt from “Ethics in the Age of Disruptive Technologies: An Operational Roadmap,” produced by the Institute for Technology, Ethics, and Culture (ITEC). ITEC is an initiative of the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University, with  support from and collaboration with the Vatican’s Centre for Digital Culture at the Dicastery for Culture and Education.  The Institute convenes leaders from business, civil society, academia, government, and all faith and belief traditions, to promote deeper thought on technology’s impact on humanity.
