Favorite memories from Santa Clara

  • Graduation day: being with everyone I had spent the last four years with and having my family there
  • Winning the Kolvenbach Award at graduation was an honor
  • Moderating a City Council Debate in 2016 on campus

Extracurricular activities while a student at SCU

  • Chair of the Student Senate for Associated Student Government (ASG)
  • Reviewing cases for the Peer Conduct Board
  • Intramural sports: softball and basketball
  • Desk Receptionist at Casa Italiana residence hall
  • Student advisor at the Political Science office

My hobbies and interests

  • Spending time with friends and family
  • Reading and writing
  • Watching sports, movies, and TV shows
  • Love dogs (my parents recently got two new puppies!)

Things that I am good at

  • Active listening, trust, and honesty
  • Making everyone feel heard and to function as a trustworthy confidante
  • Mediating difficult conversations and strategically seeing the whole field so that I can give targeted advice

Expertise that I have acquired in my life and career that I bring to my term of service on the SCU Alumni Board

  • Serving as Chair of the Student Senate at SCU and being a young alum gives me a strong insight into the culture of the student body and a deep knowledge of university administration. This will help me create partnerships with the university on alumni issues and projects.
  • Additionally, I have experience with goal-oriented committees: served on a search committee to select SCU's CFO and sit on Duke Law's Faculty Hiring committee. These experiences will help me function as a trusted advisor and active listener on the Alumni Board of Directors.
