Areas of Interest at SCU and LSB: SCDI and Lucas Lobby are my favorite places to study!

What are your SCU and LSB activities/general hobbies:  My primary involvements for 24'-25' include being a Leavey Ambassador and being one of Alpha Kappa Psi's Wellness Committee Co-Chairs. I'm also involved in the Vietnamese Student Association as well as the Information Students Network.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at LSB: There are countless internship/employment opportunities provided by LSB. One of them is Handshake, an online platform dedicated to listing internship/employment opportunities that you can customize to suit your interests. It's been incredibly useful because applying for internships as a student can be quite challenging but having a platform tailored to your interests makes it infinitely easier! As an LSB student, I'm also always getting emails about events and workshops that are being hosted, all of which are designed to get you ready for your next work experience.

Favorite LSB Class and Why?  My favorite LSB Class was BUSN70 with Professor Holubar. As my first freshman business class, it was an amazing class that taught me introductory business principles. Professor Holubar would often bring in well-experienced guest speakers that he knew from his own professional work-life and that made the class not only more enjoyable but it also gave the students a good idea of what corporate life is really like. And who could possibly forget Mike's Bikes?

What made you choose to attend LSB?  LSB is incredibly famous for its geographical location in Silicon Valley and the resources that it provides its students. Students can expect countless opportunities that will get their foot into the business work world and countless chances to give back to the supportive community at Leavey.

What advice you wish you had while applying to college?  The advice I wish I was given, which also applies to everything in life, is that you don't need to have everything sorted out before you apply or attend school. A lot of talk about college and in life often comes with the misconception that everything has to be decided before it happens, but life is inherently unpredictable and a lot of things will change. It's good to have time management and planning skills, but remember that the road to success doesn't require a map!
