Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. As a student branch, our purpose is to inspire students to learn more about electrical engineering and its various disciplines. We explore electrical engineering through conferences,  company tours, mentorship programs, career-oriented workshops, gain hands-on experience with technical projects, and foster teamwork and cooperation via social networking events and outreach programs. At SCU, students have incredible opportunities to network with industry professionals working in Silicon Valley while improving their technical skills and expanding their knowledge. This year, we aim to expand different projects to demonstrate the interdisciplinary and extensive nature of engineering while increasing our presence in underprivileged communities.
