Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

SCU's Chapter of Society of Women Engineers is part of a National Professional Organization whose mission is to stimulate women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, and demonstrate the value of diversity in engineering. SCU SWE fulfills this mission through a comprehensive set of programs focused on professional development, service, and social engagements. We regularly bring in local industry speakers, run professional development and leadership workshops, and bring members to regional and national SWE conferences. We engage in a variety of engineering outreach programs through Girl Scouts and our own One Step Ahead program for high school girls. Finally, we encourage interdisciplinary discussions through fun social nights! SWE is a place to grow and be supported as a female engineer!
