The Housing Contract contracted periods ends following the final examination period for all students each Spring Quarter/Semester. All residents are required to move out within 24 hours of their last final, and no later than their building close date. Specific dates are as follows:
Graduate & Law Move-Out Dates
- School of Law: Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 9:00PM
- 3L students taking the California Bar Exam may apply to stay through late July 2025. Dates TBA.
- Graduate Programs: Monday, June 30, 2025 at 9:00PM
Undergraduate Move-Out Dates (On-Campus and Neighborhood Units)
- Undergraduate Residence Halls close on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 9:00PM
- University Villas closes on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 12:00PM
- Neighborhood Units close on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 12:00PM
Move-Out Extensions
- Undergraduate students with late finals, and those who live more than 120 miles from campus may extend their stay through Friday, June 13 at 9:00AM
- Undergraduate students students attending or supporting graduation may extend their stay through Sunday, June 15 at 12:00PM.
- Undergraduate students with a booking for Summer 2025 that begins Monday, June 16 will transition directly from their Spring housing assignment to their Summer housing assignment. Information on Summer Housing 2025 will be announced at a later date.
Specific Move-Out Information for our resident students will be posted during the Spring 2025 term as it becomes available. All students will receive an email with specific Move-Out information prior to the end of the Housing Contract contracted period end date.
Are you switching rooms or moving out mid year?
Students checking out Mid-Year must have an approved Room Change or Contract Cancellation from the Housing Office.
