Who Do I Contact...

Are you not sure who to contact for a particular housing or residence life question or issue you or your student is experiencing? Explore the various topics below to find the best contact!

Student Engagement & Welfare Questions

If you are experiencing a conflict with your roommate(s) and need assistance to help navigate the issue, you have a number of resources. The best place to start with roommate related issues is with the residence life staff within your residence hall. You can begin by reaching out to your Community Facilitator or Neighborhood Representative (if you live in Nobili Hall or the University Villas). You can also directly contact your Resident Director or Area Coordinator, each of which are professional live-in staff who can help you and your roommate(s) work through and resolve the conflict.

If you're looking to get connected within your residential community you can reach out to either your Community Facilitator or Neighborhood Representative. You may also want to consider joining your building's Leadership Council or plan to attend an event or program that is taking place in your community to connect with other residents.

Additionally, either the Resident Director or Area Coordinator of your residence hall or the Faculty Director can help connect you to the various opportunities available to engage within your community.

A great resource, if you are having a challenging time adjusting to life at SCU, is the professional staff member that works within your residence hall. These live-in staff members are here to assist you through your transition to college life and would look forward to meeting you and learning more about your experiences. These individuals will work with you to help connect you to various available resources both within the residence hall and beyond.

If you are concerned about a roommate or friend, please do reach out to any of the residence life staff that work within your community. You can contact your Community Facilitator or Neighborhood Representative or contact your Resident Director or Area Coordinator

If for whatever reason you are unable to make contact with any of the residence life staff in your building, and you are concerned for the safety of your roommate or neighbor, please do not hesitate to directly contact Campus Safety at (408) 554 - 4441.

If you are concerned about your student, please contact the professional staff (Resident Director or Area Coordinator) member that works within your student's residence hall.

If for whatever reason you are unable to make contact with the professional residence life staff in your student's building, and you are concerned for the safety of your student, please directly contact Campus Safety at (408) 554 - 4441.
