When It's Not a Good Day to Be A Bronco

Handling depression in college

N'dea Moore-Petinak

A student tries to juggle a rigorous premed program, heavy extracurricular commitments, and a family illness in this film about coping with stress and depression.  In addition to offering resources on the Santa Clara University campus and beyond, the film shows what caring individuals can do when they think a friend having trouble.

The film's writer, N'dea Moore-Petinak, is a Public Health and Political Science double major at Santa Clara University.  This video was created as part of her Hackworth Fellowship at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, through which she worked on the ethical dimensions of key issues in public health affecting students.
