Business Ethics Internship

The Business Ethics Internship, sponsored by the Markkula Center’s Business Ethics Program, is an internship program that places Santa Clara University students in ethics and compliance positions at local corporations.

The internship is an ideal start to a young professional’s career with an interest in ethics and compliance. Interns will gain first-hand experience working directly with ethics and compliance professionals at major companies in Silicon Valley, including Adobe, Cisco Systems, Intel, NetApp, and XCEO.

Program Details

  • Interns are placed in part-time, paid internships with flexible hours ranging from 10 to 15 hours per week
  • Interns meet quarterly with an Ethics Center advisor to discuss their experience and learning outcomes
  • Interns will be assigned a supervisor within their host company, and will work with them on a daily basis, along with other team members
  • Interns write a reflection essay at the completion of their internship
