Amy Lueck received $6,200 from the Conference on College Composition & Communication
Amy Lueck with the English Department has received a $6,200 award from the Conference on College Composition & Communication to support her project "Know History, Know Self: Activating Cultural Knowledge at the Nexus of Ancestral Homelands and Colonial Academic Spaces".
Our proposal is to host a summer camp experience in the summer 2023 that brings 6-10 Muwekma Ohlone youth (aged 13-20) together on their ancestral homelands at SCU to engage in traditional cultural and land-based practices, to share and learn about one another's distinct experiences of Nave identity, and to forge connections between cultural and academic literacies.
