On Shun Pak received $232,000 from the National Science Foundation
On Shun Pak with the Mechanical Engineering Department has received a $232,000 award from the National Science Foundation to support his project "Collaborative Research: Unlocking the Potential of Active Lipid Vesicles for Directed Delivery and Controlled Release of Therapeutic Payloads".
The objective of this proposal is to evaluate the use of active lipid vesicles for directed delivery and controlled release of therapeutic payloads. Dr. Pak will use combined experimental and theoretical investigations to advance the fundamental understanding of the dynamics of active vesicles, thereby guiding the development of the vesicle-based drug delivery system.
