Gender Inequality in Leadership

Resources for college women pursuing a business career

Why does gender inequality persist in the workplace?  That was the question motivating Emily Monroe, an SCU senior who spent the past year researching diversity and inclusion in the business world as part of her Hackworth Fellowship at the Ethics Center.

Monroe interviewed 12 women in high-powered leadership roles about their experiences, as well as what companies and individuals can do to help close the opportunity gap between men and women. Her project offers a podcast, tips for young women entering the workplace, and a wealth of information about the issue.
