Hookup Culture and Drinking

Owen Huelsbeck, an intern at the Ethics Center in 2017-18, interviewed students and faculty at SCU to investigate how drinking influences consent and how events involving a lot of drinking can make students feel pressured to hook up.  In this podcast, he interviews the Katharine and George Alexander Professor of Law at Santa Clara University, Michelle Oberman about the legal issues.  He also talks to students about their experiences at parties and the environment they create that may pressure people to have sex.
