The Engineering Diversity and Inclusion Council was created in Spring 2018 in response to student concerns and initiatives. This council convenes to this day and consists of faculty, staff, and student organization leaders who have been working towards creating a culture of belonging in the School of Engineering. We are committed to developing a diverse and inclusive engineering school where everyone can succeed and feel welcome, safe, and supported. Through collaboration among faculty, students, and staff, we seek to educate and empower the community.
The Engineering Diversity & Inclusion Council presents to the community a panel series, featuring guest STEM and Community Leaders from around the country, “Walking the Walk Together.” Our first season of this series has taken place every second Thursday from June - December. Please join us here live on Thursday, January 14 at 6 p.m. PST for our Season Finale where we will be talking with SCU leadership about the tips, lessons, and advice we heard from this season's panelists.
Be a part of the conversation by submitting your questions here.
