Leading Through Laudato Si': Mid-Year Progress Update
We are excited to share the Mid-Year Progress Update for Leading Through Laudato Si’ (LTLS), Santa Clara's university-wide sustainability strategic action plan.
As we transition from foundational planning to concrete action, our work is generating replicable practices that model the just, humane, and sustainable world we aim to build.
Together, we are accelerating and embedding sustainability across campus through initiatives such as:
🌿 Culture of Sustainability: Launching behavior-focused initiatives, including piloting employee goal setting and developing new training modules for both students and employees.
🥗 Advancing Sustainable Dining: Supporting a return to a campus dining culture "for here", using reusable dishware, minimizing food waste, and promoting plant-forward catering.
Working in Alignment with the University's Mission
LTLS is the key driver for achieving the sustainability-related goals of SCU's Impact 2030 strategic plan: Solutions for the Universal Good (Goals 2 & 4), Reach on a Global Scale (Goal 2), and Foundational Commitments (Goal 4)
