Leadership and Staff
Director
Dr. Asuri is a Professor of Bioengineering in the School of Engineering, as well as Director of the Healthcare Innovation and Design Program. He establishes and executes the overall strategy for the Program, and leads activities related to sourcing and project managing collaborations with various internal and external stakeholders. He also leads the BioCAD program that collaborates with academic and industry partners to develop modular training programs to support data analytics skills training in biomanufacturing.
Co-Director
Dr. Thai is an Associate Professor of Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences. As Co-Director of the Healthcare Innovation and Design Program, she executes strategy, manages student fellowship programs, and manages internal and external communication. Dr. Thai continues to direct the Strategic Health Communication Lab, with a focus on health communication projects to understand best practices for promoting healthy cognitions and behaviors.
