Exploring the Authentic Self

A Guide to Introspection in the Context of an Interview

Fernanda Gaete '22

Fernanda Gaete ’22, a 2020-21 Hackworth Fellow with the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University, explores embracing identity, vulnerability and exploring your authentic self during the interview process.

The purpose of 'Exploring the Authentic Self' is to expose a target audience of first- and second-year university students to the importance of exploring who they are and who they want to be in the future. Gaete's work explores the interview process for students and reminders to build their confidence, showcase their values, and articulate their life stories.
