We hope to move back to our normal fitness program after we continue to get the facilities up and running. We are phasing programs back in at this time (fall 2021).
Traditionally, Campus Recreation offers 20 - 25 fitness classes per week during the academic quarter. During the summer, Campus Recreation offers eight-ten classes over the course of the 14-weeks of summer. Fitness classes available range from cardio classes such as Cardio Athletic Kickboxing or Body Conditioning, to mind, body, and spirit classes like All Levels Vinyasa Yoga. During COVID-19 we canceled our Les Mills membership and will need to determine when this will be brought back.
Fitness classes for the 21-22 academic year will continue to be free for all thanks to our donors. We appreciate donors supporting the wellness and mental health of our students through this support.
Traditionally, starting the second week of the academic quarter, all participants will need a pass to attend a fitness class. Classes will run from the second Monday to the Sunday before finals (nine weeks of classes). There will be no scheduled classes during finals week, but look out for free classes as we get closer to help you destress during finals. This spring there will be no fitness passes needed.
Campus Recreation values wellness and has many campus partners that emphasize the eight dimensions of wellness. Please see our Wellness page for more information about our campus wellness partners.
