Sullivan Aquatic Center

The Sullivan Aquatic Center the pool was renovated and reopened in October 2008. The pool is now 52 m by 23 m (a little larger than an Olympic-sized pool due to the potential future purchase of a bulkhead). The pool is a shared space for open recreation, Club Swim and Triathlon and our D1 water polo teams. 

The facility is available for use by current SCU students, faculty and staff, and Malley Center members. Seven lap lanes are regularly available for open recreation lap swimming, and we have one shallow lane for water walking. On the pool deck, we have kick boards and pull buoys available for use for lap swimmers. There are also six diving blocks that are used by Club Swim during practices and swim meets. We have over 40 lounge chairs to relax in around the pool area. 

Men's and Women's Intercollegiate Water Polo teams use the pool for their practices and home games. The pool is closed during all home games & tournaments. The pool will be closed 90 minutes before and 120 minutes post game time.  The entrance to the pool for all water polo events is through the event entrance. Spectators and teams going to the pool can not enter through the Malley Center. The gate to the pool from Malley is closed during all polo events. 

During club sport practices, the programs take up up to four of the lap lanes. For Club Swim events lanes 3 - 8 are closed but the open water and lanes 1, and 2 are available for open recreation. In addition, the pool is used by our summer Bronco Kids All Sports Camp program and they use lanes 1, 2, & 3.
