What do you do in your role at the Center? In my role as the Facilities Operations Coordinator, I will help to increase the sustainability efforts of our campus, specifically concerning waste diversion, landscaping, and our buildings. As I am just now joining the team during the fall quarter of 2022, I am eager to get started. I am hoping to learn a lot about the past and current projects and settle into my role.
What is your favorite part of being on the team? All of the people I have met through the Center so far have warmly welcomed me onto the team! I am excited to meet everyone through our Center for Sustainability retreat and begin collaborating on projects soon!
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share: I am from the east coast so I absolutely love the weather and opportunity to constantly be outdoors here! I enjoy exploring new places, whether that be small towns in Santa Cruz, or new restaurants in San Francisco. I like to write poetry, spend time with my sisters, cook new recipes (currently aiming to become a vegetarian), and discover new music.
