External or Proxy Stories

Use the "More Info" section of a Story content type to link to external content or pages.

In Story Display content types, you are able to show lists of stories that you've created throughout your site.

There are times in which you may need to link to an external piece of content (or even an internal section), and the More Info field in the Story content type allows you to specify where that content lives.

For example, if you would like to link an article from the Santa Clara Magazine. Create the Story content with the required information, such as the Title and Publish Date. You can also add an image, tags, or summary.

The final portion is to put the external URL in the More Info field:

The More Info section of Story content types within TERMINALFOUR

This will create a story entry for story displays without the need to duplicate the story text within TERMINALFOUR.
